Form 1 — Property Instructions
How we act on someone else's land. Read it like it matters — it does.
- 1Drive and park only in designated areas marked on the Property Map on the Honker Nation website.
- 2Do NOT contact the property Landowner for ANY reason.
- 3Respect the 10-mph speed limit and be careful not to track up property if muddy.
- 4If you open a gate, always close it behind you — so animals don't get out of the enclosed area, or unwanted people onto the property.
- 5Consolidate vehicles before driving to the property — the fewer vehicles, the better.
- 6Do not walk on the pit lids. Always enter and exit pits from the short side of the lid: find the short side, open one hole, jump inside, and open the rest from inside the pit.
- 7Close all lids up tight before you leave — keep snow from filling the pit.
- 8Always pick up all trash and empty shot shell casings. Always leave the property cleaner than you got there.
- 9RESPECTING the properties is of utmost priority for Honker Nation. People make a living off this land and give us the privilege of hunting on it.
- 10Be respectful and understanding when the farmer needs to work the land.
- 11SAFETY FIRST. We highly recommend the Pit Boss have a safety discussion in the pit prior to hunting.
Reservations
Reservations need to be made by the “PIT BOSS” for each group on Monday morning beginning at 8:00 am, for Tuesday/Thursday, and Friday morning at 8:00 am for the weekend. You cannot book the same property twice during a booking week (Monday through Sunday). After booking opens, if more than one property is booked for a day by a group, both reservations will be deleted.
Reservations are now done on our online booking calendar at honkernation.com. Contact Honker Nation management if you have any trouble.
Guest Policy
Guests MUST have completed all Honker Nation required documents prior to hunting — Property Instructions, Waiver and Release Agreement and Acknowledgement of Risk, and the Club Rules and Regulations form. These forms are on honkernation.com under REQUIRED PAPERWORK.

Form 3 — Club Rules and Regulations

Some properties may have a different hunting schedule per the Landowner's request. If a field has not had recent hunting pressure, Honker Nation LLC Management has sole discretion of scheduling a hunt on non-specified days, as well as restricting access to properties due to excessive snow or mud.
- 2Cancellations must be made by 6pm the night before the hunt date begins, either online at honkernation.com or by contacting management. All deadlines are in Mountain Time.
- 3Guests are allowed if accompanied by a Honker Nation Member. All Guests must have an executed Property Instructions, Waiver and Release Agreement and Acknowledgement of Risk, and Rules and Regulations form on file prior to hunting any Club Properties. If a group has an excessive number of guests, or in any manner takes advantage of the Guest Policy, Management has the right to revoke that group's Guest privileges, limit guests or charge a guest fee. Management reserves the right to revoke club membership, with full forfeiture of all paid club dues, if caught charging guests.
- 4All hunters are responsible for (but not limited to) hunter safety certificate, all necessary licenses, state and federal stamps, HIP numbers, and must abide by all Parks and Wildlife laws and regulations.
- 5ABSOLUTELY NO PASS SHOOTING!! Birds must be committed to your decoys before shooting.
- 6Park and drive only in designated areas. Adhere to the 10 mph speed limit on all properties and be careful not to track up properties when muddy.
- 7If you open a gate, it is your responsibility to close it behind you.
- 8Pick up all trash, spent shell casings and any other debris. This has been a problem — be mindful of this rule!
- 9Damage to pits, lids or blinds must be immediately reported to management.
- 10Always attempt to retrieve downed game. Do not take a loaded weapon across property lines without permission from the landowner.
- 11Never shoot over or across another hunter's space in the pit or blind — SHOOT YOUR LANE! Safety is always more important than harvesting birds!
